Three Reasons To Participate In Bucks County Restaurant Week

We all love spending a night out at a fine restaurant with the family or significant other, just as much as we love hitting a beautiful drive right down the fairway at our golf course in Warminster, PA. With the prime location of our country club and restaurant in Bucks County, PA, there’s never a bad reason to stop in for a bite to eat. However, if you are searching for a little extra motivation to give you more of a reason to enjoy a night out to eat, you’ll be pleased to know our restaurant, Judd’s and Jackson’s, will be participating in this year’s Bucks County Restaurant Week. If you’ve never taken part in a restaurant week before, you may be wondering what makes it such a popular event and why you should take advantage of it. Here are three reasons to participate in the year’s Bucks County Restaurant Week.

  • You’ll Get a 3-Course Meal at Judd’s and Jackson’s

Restaurant week is all about the food, and when you dine with Judd’s and Jackson’s you’ll be able to enjoy a 3-course meal. For your appetizer and entree you’ll have a choice of one of our three options, and to finish it all off for dessert, you’ll enjoy our fresh fruit tart.

  • You’ll Pay Reasonable Price For Meals

Going out to eat for dinner with a group means that at the end of the night, the total of your bill will be a pretty high number. During restaurant week in Bucks County, all participating restaurants offer a prix fixe menu at a special rate of $25 or $35. With the amount of food you’ll receive at Judd’s and Jackson’s and other participating restaurants, there is no better deal in town.

  • You’ll Have A Reason To Try Something New

Admit it. You’re tired of going to the same places, over and over again, and want to try something new. Restaurant week provides you that opportunity. Not only will your stomach be thanking you for the great meals throughout the week, but your wallet will be thanking you too. And who knows, you may find your new favorite dining spot.

Be sure to stop on into Judd’s and Jackson’s during Bucks County Restaurant Week, running from April 26th through May 5. Call 215-675-6000 to make your reservations today. 4 Things On Every Golfer’s Wish List

With the holiday season upon us, and the cold winter air making those early-morning, offseason, tee-times that much more difficult to tolerate, it wouldn’t be surprising if the number one thing on your holiday wish list is warmer weather. We can’t say we blame you! But during this season of giving, the time comes for us to make a wish list of items we could use. While you may be wishing for a lower handicap this year, unfortunately, that isn’t something that can be wrapped in a box and gifted. No matter the skill level of the golfer in your life, here are four things that would surely be on their holiday wish list:

1.) A Fresh Assortment of Tees
One of the main necessities of the game of golf are tees. There is no other way to slice your drive on the first hole or rip it right down the middle of the fairway if you don’t have a tee. While there is no shame in asking to use a few of your partner’s tees, having your own stock is more convenient. Buy the golfer in your life an assortment of high and low tees, so they are just as prepared for a long par 5 as a short par 3.

2.) New Golf Shoes
While Deion Sanders’ famous, “Look good, feel good, play good” quote may not translate 100% to the game of golf, it still is nice to look professional on the course. A nice, new pair of golf shoes around the holiday season will do just that for any golfer in your life.

3.) Club Re-gripping
It’s not always easy for the non-golfer in the family to buy the perfect driver or putter for their loved one, but they can buy a gift card to the Spring Mill Country Club Pro Shop where you get any current club in your bag re-gripped. If you are not looking to upgrade your clubs just yet, having them re-gripped before the new season starts can be extremely beneficial.

4.) Membership to Spring Mill Country Club
The best way to spread holiday cheer to the golfer in your life is with a membership to Spring Mill Country Club. Without question, the gift of a golf membership is something they won’t stop talking about for months. With a great 2018 on the horizon for our golf course in Richboro, there’s never been a better time to become a member.

Not only does the Spring Mill Country Club offer 18 holes of beautiful fairways and well-trimmed greens, but you are also certain to find all the items on your golfer’s list in our pro shop. When the time comes to get back out there and play golf in Warminster, PA, make sure they are stocked up with all the necessities. Contact us at 215-309-8209 to learn more.

3 Reasons to be Thankful for the Game of Golf

The Thanksgiving holiday is quickly approaching, and that means many of us will soon be enjoying amazing food, great sides, and decadent desserts like pumpkin or apple pie. When families gather together for Thanksgiving, time is often spent reflecting on what each person is thankful for. For the avid golfer out there, it’s fair to say the game of golf has given us all something to be thankful for, regardless of how frustrating a round can occasionally be. Here are three things about the game of golf we can be thankful for this year.

1.) Peaceful Escape From the Real World
Imagine the feeling you experience as you walk up to the first tee box and get ready to hit your first drive of the day. Pretty relaxing feeling, isn’t it? Regardless of how your first shot goes, you know that for the next three to four hours of your day will be spent strolling between trees, avoiding hazards, and enjoying the nice, cool breeze on your face. Those few hours out on the golf course provide you with a window of escape where the stresses of your job, relationship, or anything else are void.

2.) The Feeling of Keeping a Commitment
As humans, we sometimes are not able to fulfill every commitment we make. When it comes to the game of golf, though, it’s upon you to take time to practice your shots at the driving range, make your scheduled tee time, and finish out 18 holes of golf in the Warminster, PA area. The game of golf gives you the opportunity to keep commitments and feel good about yourself, too.

3.) A Goal to Strive For
The game of golf provides countless people around the world with an activity that pushes them to constantly be better. Each swing made, putt read, and club selected gives you the opportunity to improve upon it for the next time. Many golfers feel that their score after 18 holes defines them as a golfer, but even the pros have room for improvement. What’s great about the game of golf is that it always makes you come back to try to achieve a better score.

Spring Mill Country Club is the best place to golf near Richboro, and memberships are currently available. Don’t miss out on your chance to drive a few down the fairways of one the premier Bucks County golf courses.
