Bartenders-Part-time

Beautiful Spring Mill Country Club & Spring Mill Manor is looking to hire part-time Bartenders who can provide excellent customer service for banquets, country club members, and restaurant patrons. Will be responsible for serving our patrons at the bar, fulfilling drink orders, monitoring and closing the cash drawer and stocking the bar.

  • Availability to work, as needed with flexibility on weekdays, weekends and holidays throughout the year, at our facilities located in Ivyland, Pa.
  • Must be familiar with a wide variety of drink recipes and ability to recommend drink and food pairings.
  • Bartending experience in a private club or fine dining setting preferred.
  • Certification as a mixologist preferred, but not necessary.

Restaurant Servers

Beautiful Spring Mill Country Club is seeking friendly Restaurant Servers for our onsite restaurant Judd’s & Jackson’s Casual Dining. We are looking for people who can deliver excellent customer service while memorizing our menu and daily specials. The Restaurant Server will be responsible for familiarizing themselves with the meal descriptions, taking food and drink orders, and then delivering those orders to the proper customers in the dining rooms and the bar.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take customers’ food and drink orders.
  • Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table promptly.
  • Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials.
  • Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience.
  • Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever clarification is requested.
  • Assist with setting and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties.

Part and full-time flexible hours. $3.75 per hour plus tips. No late nights. Safe environment.

Banquet Set Up Attendant

As a Banquet Set Up Attendant, you set, maintain, refresh and breakdown the banquet meeting rooms according to the sales contract.

About the job:
Spring Mill Country Club has an immediate opening for a Banquet Set-Up Attendant. Candidates are responsible for setting meeting rooms with tables, chairs and other furniture and equipment in line with guest/client requests. This position is also responsible for breaking down the set-up and maintaining the cleanliness of the meeting space. ***This position requires heavy lifting up to 50lbs, and the ability to push and pull equipment carts weighing more than 100lbs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for understanding a BEO so you can set up and break down each event safely and efficiently.
  • Responsible for the appearance of event space: some light vacuuming. Report conditions or problems to maintenance for repair.
  • You also are ensuring supplies are readily available per the BEO and all equipment is set up and working properly.

Experience & Skills:

  • Basic reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English Language.
  • Previous customer service, housekeeping and/or related experience are helpful.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.

Education: High-school graduate or GED

Men’s Locker Room Attendant

As Men’s Locker Room Attendant, you are required to politely attend to member’s needs.

About the job:
Spring Mill Country Club has a seasonal opening for a Men’s Locker Room Attendant. Candidates are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the space and providing excellent customer service for country club members. This position requires occasionally taking orders and the ability to serve snacks and beverages to members.
Part-time: $12 an hour, plus tips. Job starts the end of March-beginning of April. Flexible Schedule- including AM, PM and Mid Shifts, Weekends and Holidays. 30-40 hours a week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Polite manners and excellent communication skills.
  • Shoe shine, repair, and replacement of golf shoe spikes.
  • Light cleaning/vacuuming and maintaining high standards of cleanliness of the locker room. Report conditions or problems to maintenance for repair.
  • Laundry services. General housekeeping duties.
  • Punctuality.
  • Adhering to grooming and appearance standards.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Lift/carry up to 25 lbs.-such as, towels, golf clubs, stocking the ice chest.

Experience & Skills

  • Previous customer service, housekeeping and/or related experience are helpful.
  • Excellent oral communication and listening skills. Ability to follow directions.
